What is it?
FRA is a non-surgical facelift; it’s relatively new to the West but has been used in China for many years now. It rebalances the bodies motivating energy (Qi) halting and supposedly reversing the signs of ageing. As we mature the quantity of Qi and blood in the skin and underlying facial muscles slowly begin to decrease causing loss of nourishment, elasticity and moisture.
What does it do?
FRA smoothes fine lines, reduces wrinkles, evens out skin tone, reduces puffiness on the eyelids and jowl, lifts the brows and brightens the eyes, all without having to go under the knife.
How does it work?
The same as traditional acupuncture, whisker fine needles are inserted into wrinkles and frown lines in the face, slowly diminishing them by relaxing the tight muscles around the wrinkle to iron it out and release the blocked energy around it. In the area surrounding the mouth, cells are stimulated so the body produces new collagen which fills in the lines.
Who’s it for?
Anyone who wants to reduce unwanted lines and furrows on the face. Usually people over the age of 40 or with premature ageing, double chins, chain smokers and sun worshippers
Who’s it not for?
Anyone who suffers from migraine, vertigo, severe tinnitus, haemophilia, high blood pressure, pregnancy and it is not recommended for those who have had Botox.
Will it hurt?
No it is relatively painless, a sensation almost like electricity is experienced, on occasion there can be a stabbing pain for the first couple of seconds but it slowly abates. On your first session you are usually lying down.
How many sessions do I need?
It is recommended to have a course of 10-15 treatments and to keep them up regularly, usually once to twice a week. I noticed a difference after one session, my eyes were brighter and my skin was glowing, but by treatment number seven there was a significant lift in my facial muscles.
How much does it cost?
Each session can take up to two hours and this will cost you in the region of £90 per session.

ReplyDeleteI can't believe this. A great testimony l must share. A few months back l was diagnosed with herpes virus. I really thought my life was over.
